The Emotionally Intelligent Kinkster is a reflective, trauma‑aware class for kink‑curious and seasoned players who want their play to be as nourishing and supportive as possible. Participants will learn how emotional intelligence applies to kink, including self‑awareness of desires, limits, and nervous system cues, as well as skills for attuning to partners’ emotional states before, during, and after scenes. They will explore how shame, perfectionism, and people‑pleasing can shape kink dynamics, and how self‑compassion plus curious, consent‑centred communication can support more grounded play for everyone involved.

Participants will walk away with:

  • A clearer personal picture of what “emotionally healthy kink” looks like for them and their partners.

  • A small toolkit of self‑compassion, regulation, and partner check‑in practices to use around play.

  • Simple scripts and question prompts to support honest communication, emotional attunement, and collaborative scene‑building.

  • A reflection worksheet they can return to as their desires, boundaries, and dynamics evolve.

This class is open to all attendees with any experience level over the age of 18.
